Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: August 7, 2026
Welcome to Triumph Together. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Triumph Together website, located at triumphtogether.net (the “Site”), as well as applications, programs, experiences, events, communications, and related services offered through Triumph Together.
Triumph Together is operated by Project Outrun, a nonprofit organization. Throughout these Terms, “Triumph Together,” “Project Outrun,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Project Outrun and the Triumph Together program it operates.
By accessing the Site, submitting an application, registering for an experience, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you are submitting information on behalf of a child or another person, you also represent that you have the legal authority to do so.
1. About Triumph Together
Triumph Together helps create memorable experiences for children and families affected by serious or life-threatening illnesses, including opportunities to connect with collegiate and professional athletes, sports teams, events, and other community partners.
Experiences may include, among other things, tickets to sporting events, athlete or team meet-and-greets, signed merchandise, videos or messages of encouragement, special events, and similar opportunities.
Triumph Together is a program operated by Project Outrun. References to Triumph Together on this Site refer to the program and services administered by Project Outrun.
2. Eligibility and Applications
Parents, legal guardians, caregivers with appropriate authority, healthcare professionals with appropriate authorization, or other authorized individuals may submit an application for a child to be considered for a Triumph Together experience.
If the applicant is under 18 years of age, an application must be submitted or approved by the child’s parent or legal guardian before participation in an experience.
By submitting an application, you represent that:
- the information you provide is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- you have authority to provide the information included in the application;
- if you are applying on behalf of a minor, you are the minor’s parent or legal guardian or otherwise have appropriate authorization to submit the application;
- you have permission to provide any health-related or other personal information included with the application; and
- you will notify us if information relevant to the application materially changes.
Submitting an application does not guarantee that an applicant will be selected or that an experience will be provided.
Applications may be accepted, declined, placed on hold, or prioritized based on factors such as available funding, location, medical circumstances, scheduling, athlete or team availability, organizational resources, partner requirements, and the nature of the requested experience.
We may request additional information reasonably necessary to evaluate or coordinate an application.
Please do not submit medical records or other information beyond what is reasonably necessary for the application unless specifically requested by an authorized member of our team.
3. Experience Availability
Triumph Together experiences depend on the voluntary participation and availability of athletes, teams, venues, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and other third parties.
Because many circumstances are outside our control, we cannot guarantee:
- participation by any particular athlete, team, organization, or individual;
- tickets to a specific game or event;
- particular seats or accommodations;
- autographs, photographs, merchandise, or other items;
- a particular date, time, location, or experience;
- transportation, lodging, meals, parking, or other expenses unless expressly communicated otherwise; or
- that an approved or scheduled experience will occur as originally planned.
Experiences may be modified, postponed, relocated, substituted, or canceled because of scheduling changes, athlete or team availability, illness, weather, venue restrictions, safety concerns, transportation issues, changes in a participant’s circumstances, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes to affected families.
4. Health and Safety
Project Outrun and Triumph Together are not healthcare providers and do not provide medical advice.
A parent or legal guardian is responsible for determining whether participation in an experience is medically appropriate for a child and should consult the child’s healthcare team when appropriate.
Sports venues, public events, travel, crowds, physical activities, and interactions with other people may involve inherent risks. Participants and their parents or guardians are responsible for considering those risks in light of the participant’s health and treatment circumstances.
Please notify us of accessibility, mobility, or other accommodation needs relevant to an experience so that we can make reasonable efforts to coordinate with participating organizations. We cannot guarantee that every requested accommodation will be available.
In an emergency, participants should contact appropriate emergency or medical services rather than relying on Triumph Together or Project Outrun.
5. Third-Party Requirements
Triumph Together works with professional and collegiate sports organizations, athletes, venues, hospitals, sponsors, transportation providers, vendors, and other third parties.
Participation in an experience may be subject to additional rules or agreements established by those organizations, including venue policies, ticket terms, security requirements, credential requirements, health and safety policies, and liability or participation releases.
Participants agree to comply with reasonable rules imposed by an applicable venue, team, event organizer, or other third party.
Failure to comply with applicable requirements may result in cancellation or termination of an experience.
6. Participant Conduct
Participants, parents, guardians, family members, and guests are expected to behave respectfully toward athletes, staff members, volunteers, other families, venue personnel, and members of the public.
We reserve the right to end or deny participation in an experience when we reasonably believe conduct is unsafe, threatening, unlawful, abusive, disruptive, fraudulent, or materially inconsistent with the charitable purpose of the program.
Tickets, credentials, merchandise, or other benefits provided through a Triumph Together experience may not be sold, auctioned, transferred for profit, or otherwise commercially exploited without our prior written permission.
7. Photos, Video, and Publicity
Triumph Together and Project Outrun may document experiences through photographs, video, interviews, testimonials, or similar media.
When appropriate, particularly when a minor is involved, we may request a separate photo, video, publicity, or media release from the participant’s parent or legal guardian.
Submitting an application by itself does not constitute permission for us to publicly disclose a child’s medical information or use the child’s name, image, or likeness for promotional purposes unless the applicable application or a separate release expressly states otherwise.
Families should review any media release presented to them before providing consent.
8. Personal Information and Application Data
When you use the Site or apply for an experience, we may receive information such as names, ages, contact information, location, health or treatment information voluntarily submitted as part of an application, sports preferences, clothing sizes, family information, social media information, and other information reasonably necessary to evaluate or coordinate an experience.
We use this information for purposes such as:
- reviewing applications;
- communicating with applicants and families;
- determining potential eligibility;
- coordinating experiences;
- working with participating teams, athletes, venues, sponsors, and service providers when reasonably necessary;
- providing requested services;
- operating and improving our programs; and
- complying with legal or organizational obligations.
Additional information about how personal information is collected, used, retained, and shared should be described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of donation, donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable except in cases of processing error or where otherwise required by law.
The use of charitable contributions may be subject to organizational needs, program requirements, donor restrictions that we expressly accept, and applicable law.
Nothing on the Site constitutes tax, legal, or financial advice. Donors should consult their own advisors regarding the tax treatment of a contribution.
Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment processors and may be subject to the processor’s own terms and privacy practices.
11. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Site may contain links to websites, ticketing platforms, payment processors, social media platforms, athlete or team websites, event registration platforms, or other services operated by third parties.
We do not control those third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, content, security, privacy practices, terms, products, or services.

12. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and its original content, branding, graphics, text, photographs owned by us, logos, program materials, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Project Outrun or Triumph Together and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access and use Site content for personal, noncommercial purposes related to our programs.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from our protected materials without prior written permission, except as otherwise permitted by law.
Names, logos, photographs, trademarks, and other materials belonging to athletes, teams, leagues, universities, sponsors, venues, or other third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

- to upload malicious software or harmful code;
- to scrape or systematically collect Site content without authorization; or
- to use Triumph Together, Project Outrun, participating athletes, or partner organizations for unauthorized commercial purposes.
14. No Guarantee or Warranty
We work in good faith to provide meaningful experiences and maintain accurate information on the Site. However, charitable programs and experiences frequently depend on circumstances outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and its services are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties regarding uninterrupted availability, the availability of any specific experience, or the participation of any particular athlete, team, venue, sponsor, or organization.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Project Outrun, Triumph Together, and their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Site or inability to participate in a requested experience.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit liability where such liability cannot legally be waived or limited.
Any separate event-specific liability waiver, participation agreement, or release will be governed by its own terms.
16. Changes or Suspension of Programs
Project Outrun may change, suspend, or discontinue portions of Triumph Together or the Site at any time.
Program requirements, eligibility criteria, application procedures, available experiences, and other program details may also change as our resources, partnerships, and charitable priorities evolve.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically.
When material changes are made, we will post the revised Terms on the Site and update the Effective Date shown above. Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent that applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in this section limits any rights that cannot legally be waived under the laws applicable to a particular user or participant.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional agreement or release specifically applicable to an experience, constitute the agreement between you and Project Outrun concerning your use of the Site and participation in Triumph Together programs.
If an event-specific agreement directly conflicts with these Terms concerning that particular experience, the event-specific agreement will control for that experience.
